Since 1963 the Mazzurana family have made guests, locals and visitors alike, feel right at home here at Trattoria Da Nanni – an historical restaurant near Lake Garda, perched up on the slopes of mount Baldo. In the kitchen the focus is on seasonal ingredients, often sourced locally, and making dishes from scratch like the pasta, bread and sweet treats, which are all made by hand in-house. In winter dine by the cosy log fire and when the weather warms eat indoors in the air-conditioned dining area or out on the terrace.
On the menu: from first course dishes like risottos, pasta and gnocchi with seasonal ingredients to second course freshwater fish dishes that change depending on the catch of the day and meat dishes like rabbit with polenta, sliced beefsteak and duck. Do leave space for sweet treats and their very own ice cream.
In the cellar: a carefully put together wine list that groups wines by regions and includes a selection of international wines and spirits.
