A big blackboard up on the wall with the daily specials written in chalk is the first thing you’ll notice when stepping inside Trattoria Rocchetti. The menu relies heavily on seasonal produce from small local producers, which is why it changes daily, and dishes are inspired by traditional Veneto recipes. Come the summer, tables are set up outdoors on the veranda for alfresco dining.
On the menu: all pasta is made in house, from the maltagliati pasta to the gnocchi, served with typical sauces like the one with truffle and Monte Veronese cheese. Second course dishes range from freshwater fish from the lake to grilled meat - sourced from trusted farmers in the Veneto - served, for example, with potatoes.
In the cellar: a choice of regional wines.
